Introduction
This training course is for those who work in low risk confined spaces. A Low risk confined space exists when there is easy entry/exit, no risk of flooding and adequate natural or mechanical ventilation.
Low risk confined spaces would be associated with lone working requiring the application of appropriate procedures

- Identification of risks and their control
- Prepare to work safely in Low Risk confined spaces
- Enter and exit Low Risk confined spaces safely
- Hazardous atmospheres and gas monitoring
- Follow procedures and work safely
- Roles, responsibilities and toperson / bottom man duties
- Safe use equipment and tools safely
- Pre use checks, correct donning & adjustment of harness
- Emergencies procedures
- Use appropriate behaviour when working in Low Risk confined spaces
- Inspection and applications of tripods, winches and fall arrest equipment
- Practical exercises & assessments
