Introduction

This class room based RF Hazard Awareness training course is for delegates who require this for access to sites where RF Hazards are present and for Arqiva Gateway access - part of our Telecoms passport range of courses.

This is an entry level course for anyone working in an environment where they may be exposed to radio frequency (RF) hazards and require Arqiva Gateway access.

Delegates will cover the following elements:

  • Health and safety legislation  
  • Safety bodies
  • Non ionising/ ionising radiation
  • Effects of radio frequency on the human body
  • Safe access procedure
  • Gateway access
  • Approved RF monitors
  • Practical scenarios of RF hazards

This is class room based course no additional equipment is required
